Sony has plans that are ambitious for the next generation of virtual reality hardware with plans to have 2 million units of the PSVR 2 headset ready by March of next year FIFA 23 coins.
The production of the mass-produced virtual reality headset was reported to have begun on September 1st (via Bloomberg) and has never faced limitations in its supply chain. With the PS5 continuing to be highly sought-after due to its limited availability since it launched in November 2020. Sony is also planning to have more console stock on shelves in the early 2023 timeframe, according to Bloomberg's sources.
PSVR 2 has yet receive a date beyond 2023, but Sony is working to ensure that there's enough PS5 consoles available for games with the brand new headset. The hardware will only work on PS5 and will not be compatible with backward-compatible PSVR games.

Like the PS5 and its DualSense controller Sony is incorporating haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, eye-tracking, inside-out trackers, and 3D audio into the kit however, it's not yet released the price at which it will retail.
"PSVR 2 looks poised be an enormous boost for it in the gaming industry," Tamoor Hussain wrote in GameSpot's PSVR 2 preview. "It will be interesting to find out whether PSVR 2 will draw a large amount of attention, but at the minimum, I'm confident that it will bring us one step closer to achieving the full potential of this device."
